During the academic year 2024-2025 we will post to this blog as part of the project called “A pause for menopause in the workplace”. It is a pilot project funded by Lund University Sustainability Fund as a Sustainable Proposal Testbed and is carried out in collaboration with Gerdahallen. Through this fund, Lund University staff can get seed money to develop ideas about how our university can become more sustainable.
The people behind this project are Åsa Rippe, Rebecca Malmström and me, Cheryl Sjöström. I’m an employee at the Centre for Environmental and Climate Science (CEC) at Lund University where I coordinate a graduate research school. Rebecca and I are colleagues at CEC and we’re writing this blog together. I’m also an instructor at the training facility Gerdahallen from where I know Åsa. She works there as a physical therapist with loads of competence, training and interest in women’s health.
